Soak badam for minimum 2 hrs . Keep aside 3 - 4 tbsp of blanched and sliced almonds for tadka.
Cook chana dal in cooker with enough water for 150 gms of dal (do not add lot of water)
Grind badam and khova with milk in mixie, keep aside and next in the mixer add chana dal(cooked) and one cardamom with milk and grind. (do not add water and the mixture should be of pouring consistency)
Take out the above mixtures in a wide thick bottom vessel, add sugar and saffron strands, mix well and cook it for approx 20 to 30 mins on low flame, keep stirring constantly.
For tadka, heat ghee in a small pan add whole cardamon, cinnamon,cloves, raisins and sliced almonds and add it to the above.
Badam ka meetha is ready to serve, tastes good even when served cold :D
