Tomato chutney
Ingredients
- Tomatoes sliced - 4 large
- Green chilies - 3-4 (as per taste)
- Garlic pods - 5-6
- Coriander - small bunch, large stems removed
Method
- Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add sliced tomatoes and roast them for 10-15 mins until the water from the tomatoes is dried.
- In a separate pan dry roast green chilies.
- Add roasted tomatoes and green chilies in a blender along with garlic pods and salt, blend it into a thick paste with very little or no water.
- Now add coriander to the above and blend it again.
- Remove it in a serving bowl and enjoy it with roti, dosa....etc
