Prawn Fry


Ingredients:


  • Prawns - 1/2 kg (Peeled, deveined and washed with turmeric pwdr)
  • Ginger & Garlic paste - 3 tsp
  • Onion  finely chopped - 1 small
  • Tomato finely chopped - 1 small
  • Dry red chilies - 2 - 3
  • Red chili pwdr - 2 tsp
  • Balck pepper pwdr - half tsp
  • Lemon juice - 3 -4 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Oil


Method:



  1. Heat oil in a vessel, add onions, dry red chilies and fry them until the onions turn slightly golden brown, now add ginger garlic paste, red chili pwdr, black pepper pwdr, salt, tomato,prawns and cook this on low to medium flame for about 15 - 20 mins or until the prawns are cooked.
  2. Take a pan or kadai and heat 3 - 4 tbsp of oil in it, add the above cooked prawns along with lemon juice and fry it on high flame for 5 mins or until the the masala is dry.


Fish Fry




Ingredients:


  • Fish pieces - 10
  • Ginger garlic paste -  3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 3 - 4 tbsp
  • Black pepper - half tsp
  • Salt
  • Red chili pwdr - 2 tsp
  • Cornflour - half tsp 
  • Oil


Method:


  1. Make a paste using all the above ingredients (of course without fish pieces) also add half tsp of oil in the paste and mix well.
  2. Apply a nice layer of paste on the fish slice and keep it aside for minimum an hour or so and shallow fry in oil .
